My mother-in-law, Carole, has thought loops. She repeats the same stories, many times a day.

Most of them are harmless. For instance, she tells me everyday that everything I cook is delicious. I should do it professionally. I’m a good cook because I like to do it, she says. Just the way she’s a good seamstress because she likes to sew.
