Are you actually going to write that novel this year?

Did you make a writing New Year's resolution? How's that going, three months in?

Are you participating in Camp Nano in April?

Is this the year you're going to actually write a novel--for real, all the way through to the end?

If you're like I've been my whole life, the answer is that there's a pretty good gap between your ambition, plans and, big ideas--and your execution. I spent decades (literally, decades) wanting to write novels and not actually writing them. Lots and lots of good starts, zero finishes. That's the danger of being a creative, right-brained person. We tend to see the end result and struggle with all the steps it takes to get there.

It wasn't until I came up with some systems for myself that I actually started to see some real progress. They're my magic bullet.

So, this morning I'm printing out my April magic bullet--my daily and weekly dockets, my FRED (that's a monthly accountability calendar), and my writing log.

If you're part of the Ninja Writer Club or a $10 or above Ninja Writer patron on Patreon, you've already received your monthly magic bullet download. This is your reminder to print it out and USE it. Use it to make some progress toward your New Year's resolution. Use it to help you manage Club Nano. Use it to plan a new novel. Just use it and see what happens.

If you're not and you'd like to give it a try this month, you can buy the April magic bullet download in the Ninja Writer Shop. I won't normally be offering a discount of any kind on the monthly downloads, but because this is the first month it's being offered in the Ninja Writer Shop and because April is a big month for a lot of writers (with Camp Nano and all) and because I just really want everyone to try the magic bullet and see how awesome it is, I am offering a 25 percent discount through Monday.

Click here to download your magic bullet right now.

You'll get all of the exact tools I'll use to help me be productive in April:

  • 30 days worth of daily dockets
  • 6 weeks worth of weekly dockets
  • a FRED (monthly accountability calendar)
  • a 30 day writing log
  • a 30 day list of writing prompts
  • instructions for using all the tools

If you enjoyed this story, give it some love with a heart. ❤❤❤
